Hospitality
Provides guests, as well as members, with quality coffee and beverage service in an inviting environment. Age: 15+
Provides security/medical at all church-wide events. Must meet MS Church Safety Act Requirements.
Serves to make our church feel special and at home by welcoming people to Relate.
Assists people to their seats, facilitates the offering, and helps maintain a distraction-free service environment.
Serves as the first impression for those coming to Relate by welcoming people on and off the property and by providing a safe and efficient parking experience. Age: 15+
Help people identify their Next Steps by providing resources and information about our church.
Connections
Helps keep things running smoothly behind the scenes by assisting with data entry, organization, scheduling, and communication tasks that support the church staff and ministries throughout the week and on Sundays.
Prepares for and hosts the Relate baptism experience.
Serves every 1st Sunday by setting up the Starting Point Room, welcoming attenders, helping with questions or needs, and making sure food and drinks are ready—creating a warm space for people to take their next step.
Production
Manages the sound, lighting, slides, and screens during services, creating a distraction-free worship environment and making sure every message is seen and heard clearly both in the room and online.
Engages with viewers in the chat during live-streamed services by welcoming them, sharing helpful links, answering questions, and creating community and connection in our digital space.
Captures moments of worship, fellowship, and ministry throughout Sunday services and special events, using creativity to tell the story of what God is doing at Relate Church through high-quality, uplifting images.
Singers and Musicians who create moments that lead to movements towards Jesus through worship.
Ensures that our worship services are broadcast with excellence by operating cameras and managing the stream feed for those watching from home or around the world.
Building Support
Ensures that every area of the church is clean, welcoming, and ready for ministry by helping with pre-service stocking of supplies for congregants seating (i.e. connection cards, offering envelopes, handouts), along with in-service refresh of bathrooms/trash disposal, etc.
Serves at conferences and church-wide events by setting up decorations and facilitating meals and snacks.
Supports the church through building projects, construction needs, and light maintenance—helping keep our space safe, functional, and ready for ministry.
Next Gen
From facilitating the check-in process to Relate Kids to ensure children are cared for effectively and efficiently to creating a fun, safe atmosphere to minister to our kids through Bible Stories, worship, and prayer. (Background Check Required)
Help students and their parents get connected to our student ministry through SOR Nights on Wednesday evenings, small groups, SOR Connect on Sunday mornings, and summer camps. (Background Check Required)
Builds community for people ages 18–30 by creating a welcoming space during services and events, facilitating small group connections, and helping others grow spiritually through encouragement, outreach, and discipleship.
Prayer
Ministers to those making a decision for Christ by praying with them, offering encouragement, and guiding them through their next steps. (Team Training Required)
Ministers to individuals during altar ministry moments and prayer times in service – passionate about seeing people set free, chains broken, and lives changed by God’s healing power through prayer.
*An interview and background check are required to serve on this team.
Serves by arriving early to help prepare the auditorium for prayer, setting the atmosphere, and ensuring everything is in place for those attending. After prayer ends, team members make sure the space is reset and ready for Sunday services.
